Secondary School

The basic general education is the second stage of general education, the goals of which are to create conditions for the formation of the personality of the learner, the development of his inclinations and interests. At this stage, students develop the ability to learn and the ability to organize their activities - the ability to accept, retain goals and follow them in learning activities, to plan their activities, monitor and evaluate it, and to interact in the educational process and beyond.

The objectives of the LEADER School educational programme at this stage are:

 

  • to achieve the best possible results for graduates of the 9th grade: knowledge, skills, competences and competencies determined by personal, family, public, state needs, opportunities and individual characteristics

  • the formation and development of the learner's personality in its uniqueness

  • the formation of an educational basis based not only on knowledge, but also on the appropriate cultural level of personality development, creating conditions for self-realization

  • ensuring an effective combination of lessons and extra-curricular forms of organization of teaching sessions, and interaction of all participants in educational relations

  • Identification and development of students' abilities, their interests through the system of clubs, studios, extra-curricular activities, and socially useful activity

  • organization of intellectual and creative competitions, scientific and technical creativity, design and training and research activities

  • participation of students, their parents and teachers in the design and development of the intra-school social environment, and the school system

  • Inclusion of students into the development of the extra-curricular social environment to gain experience in real management and action

  • social and educational research design, including professional orientation of students with the support of teachers, psychologists, and social educators

  • preservation and strengthening of physical, psychological and social health of students, ensuring their safety

Upper Secondary School

Secondary general education is the third and final stage of general education in Russia. Its main goal is to give students the training and opportunities for building individual educational programmes in accordance with their abilities, inclinations, and needs.

At this stage of training in LEADER School, students are given the right to choose their own learning option in grades 10-11 for a particular profile or direction. Traditional profiles are: natural science-mathematical, humanitarian, socio-economic, technological, as well as a non-core learning option - a universal profile. The main goal for profile education is a deepening of knowledge, inclinations, and improvement of previously acquired skills through the creation of a system of specialized training in grades 10-11. This training is focused on the individualization of training and the professional orientation of students in accordance with their needs.

The objectives of LEADER School in training at this stage:

 

The learning program of program of LEADER School middle and high school based on the Russian government curriculum, ratified by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and English curriculum.

 

When our students graduate they receive two certificates:
* a Russian high school diploma
* an International Foundation Diploma if they completed extra Foundation year
    • to give students a deep and strong knowledge of relevant disciplines in precisely those areas to which they intend to devote themselves at the end of the school

    • to develop graduates' skills in independent cognitive activity, and to prepare them for solving life problems of different levels of complexity

    • to acquaint them with a wide range of problems related to one or another field of activity, develop a motivation for research and development

    • to develop students' thinking that allows them not to passively consume information, but to critically and creatively process it

    • to developing one's own opinions and being able to defend it

    • to increase students chances in terms of admission to the selected universities of countries round the world

  • After graduation our students receive two diplomas, they are able to use their Russian qualification to continue their studies in Russia, or their International Foundation Programme/A-levels in Turkey and the rest of the world to enter top universities worldwide.
